This week the students will be working in groups constructing a simple machine. All work should be done at school. The machine must be able to fit on the student desk (no larger). They will be graded on their blue-print (plan) 10 points; does the machine have two (or more) types of simple machines (lever, pulley, ramp, or others) 5 points; students in the group bring in supplies (none will be provided) 5 points; cooperation with group 10 points; TOTAL 30 points. The simple machines are due on Friday, Feb. 3.

Scholastic Super Science Magazine - Tuesday and Wednesday we will have class discussion and complete a worksheet packet. This is due at the end of class on Wednesday.
Math Enrichment on Thursday. Around-the-World math facts and graphing practice.
No Science on Friday due to Honor Roll Bowling. Students on campus will be completing Math activities.
