SCIENCE FAIR PROJECT Students should be writing their 'Abstract' which is due Feb. 10th. Be sure to explain "why" you are getting your experiment's results (Abstract is around 200-230 words). Contact Mrs. Rhoades if you have questions. Plan to bring in the Science Fair Project DISPLAY BOARD on Monday, Feb. 13th.
We will be reviewing Chapter 3 (pages 108-137) "Forces". There will be an open-book TEST on Wednesday. Later in the week, we will have Math Enrichment - graphing activity. Time will be given, each day, for students to ask any final questions they may have about the Science Fair Project.

LANGUAGE ARTS Feb. 6-10
This week, the students will be making a "Comparison and Contrast" chart. We will work on this chart in class. It will be completed by Friday.

The students will continue reading the book Hoot by Carl Hiaasen.
We will have a Vocabulary QUIZ (Chapters 1-5) on Monday.
New vocabulary words will be given out on Tuesday.
Students will complete a Hoot comprehension worksheet.
We plan to read chapters 6-10 this week.
